Sheryl is a 30-year veteran of the orthopedic medical device industry. She served as the President an CEO of OrthoWorx from 2012 to May 2017. Sheryl is a former corporate officer and senior executive of Zimmer Holdings. Her last position at Zimmer was Group President, Americas and Global Marketing, and Chief Marketing Officer. Her tenure at Zimmer began in 1983 in the Clinical Research department and then evolved to positions of increasing responsibility in global marketing and new product development, sales and operations as well as general management where Sheryl had full P&L accountability. Those roles included President, Global Products Group; President, Zimmer Reconstructive; and General Manager, Zimmer Canada. Sheryl has been recognized as a visionary leader, launching new, more effective organizational forms, taking highly creative approaches to product development and marketing, and building entirely new businesses. Over the course of her career, Sheryl has had responsibility for a broad range of orthopedic product areas including adult reconstructive, trauma, sports medicine, extremities, computer-assisted surgery, spine, dental and ancillary surgical products (eg. surgical power tools, braces and supports, blood management equipment).

A Warsaw native, she holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Ball State University and an MBA from the Miller College of Business, also at Ball State University. Sheryl is an active angel investor and serves as board participant for private and non-profit entities.
